Bike tour - 6 hour Bike and tastings
Jump on our speed hybrid speed bike and let yourself be guided through the soft Florentine hills. We will stop to visit a Renaissance Villa whose cellar dates back to the year 1000. We will then visit a family-run farm where a delicious wine tasting accompanied by typical products awaits us. After the trip we will return to the city to our meeting point to release our speed hybrid bike that will have accompanied us for the entire duration of the journey, minimizing any effort even on the steepest climbs.
The meeting point for both outward and return journeys is Via del Campuccio, 88, Florence.
The tour is available every day starting at 9.15 am to enjoy the early hours of the morning together.
E-bikes are also available for an extra price of 20 Euro

Tour program
Departure scheduled at 9.15 am from the Florence office, located in the Oltrarno.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by friendly staff and your guide who will take care of providing you with a bicycle and helmet suitable for each participant. There will then be a short safety training session and introduction to the itinerary.
We will start the walk by pedaling on flat ground, to tune in to our high quality 24-speed hybrid bikes (or, if you prefer, electric bikes for an extra fee).
We will pass by some of the main attractions of Florence including Palazzo Pitti. The first part of the bike ride takes around 1 hour, and includes some uphill stretches along the ancient city walls of Florence, so be prepared to burn some calories. There will be many scenic stops to take photos and learn about the life and nature of our land with the tales of the expert guide.
Furthermore, along the way, we will enjoy splendid views over the city of Florence, especially when we arrive at the fantastic viewpoint of San Miniato al Monte (near Piazzale Michelangelo, but less crowded!)
From here we will head towards the Tuscan countryside, visiting villages immersed in the famous rolling hills.
After another bike ride, we will reach a winery for a tour of the property and a typical Tuscan lunch with tastings.
The Renaissance Villa we will visit has been owned by an ancient Florentine family for centuries, and is still managed by them. We will visit the beautiful fields that surround it to learn about natural olive oil and wine making, as this farm still honors the ancient method of manual olive harvesting.
We will go down to their ancient cellar which dates back to the year 1000, which is located just below the beautiful Villa and its Italian gardens.
At this point, we will be ready for a typical Tuscan lunch paired with a tasting of olive oil and 2 of the locally produced wines. Lunch includes appetizer, first course, dessert and coffee.
After lunch, we will return to the saddle of the bikes to pedal and burn some calories. Your guide will choose the best return itinerary so that you can enjoy gentler hills and beautiful views, on the scenic way back to Florence. The tour ends with the return to the starting point.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS
Individuals 14 years of age and older can attend, for a maximum total of 10 guests. For requests for participants over the allowed number or under the age of 14, we ask you to write to our email address info@mamoexperience.com for further info.
You need to be able to ride a bike, not necessarily an electric bike. The minimum suggested height is 150 cm
