Bike tour - 4.5 hours Bike and tastings
Jump on our speed hybrid speed bike and let yourself be guided through the soft Florentine hills. We will stop to visit a Renaissance Villa whose cellar dates back to the year 1000. We will then visit a family-run farm where a delicious wine tasting accompanied by typical products awaits us. After the trip we will return to the city to our meeting point to release our speed hybrid bike that will have accompanied us for the entire duration of the journey, minimizing any effort even on the steepest climbs.
The meeting point for both outward and return journeys is Via del Campuccio, 88, Florence.
The tour is available every day starting at 9.15 am to enjoy the early hours of the morning together.
E-bikes are also available for and extra price of 20 Euro.

Tour program
Departure scheduled at 9.15 am from the Florence office, located in the Oltrarno. Upon arrival you will be greeted by friendly staff and your guide who will take care of providing you with a bicycle and helmet suitable for each participant. There will then be a short safety training session and introduction to the itinerary.
The first part of the bike ride lasts about an hour, and we will pass through the ancient Porta Romana gate. This is the only entrance to Florence that is still surrounded by the 13th century city walls.
The first ascent of the day (700m) is in a beautiful residential area of the town. Once at the top, we will see a distant Florence and an approach to the Tuscan countryside.
After reaching the countryside, along narrow and ancient roads, it will be possible to make numerous photo stops and learn about local flora and fauna.
Once we reach the Villa, we will park the bicycles in the olive grove and in the Villa, here the guide will give a brief introduction on the local olive oil and winemaking. Furthermore, being a family-run production, the products are absolutely organic and sustainable, including the owner's vegetable garden.
We will then enter the millenary cellar for a wine and olive oil tasting accompanied by a Tuscan snack based on typical local products, exclusive and available only in the Villa. In fact, both wine and olive oil will be available for purchase and shipping.
After this short culinary break, you are ready to burn some calories!
The way back to Florence will take us through an ancient Tuscan village where Galileo Galilei lived and we will be able to admire his stellar observatory!
Back in Florence, we will make a last stop in the famous Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy one of the best views of Florence and take the best selfie.
The last part of the walk is all downhill in the historic center of Florence.
If you wish, the guide will take you to his favorite local ice cream parlor to recover your strength!
The tour ends with the return to the starting point.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS
Individuals 14 years of age and older can attend, for a maximum total of 10 guests. For requests for participants over the allowed number or under the age of 14, we ask you to write to our email address info@mamoexperience.com for further info.
You need to be able to ride a bike, not necessarily an electric bike. The minimum suggested height is 150 cm
